I love travel, and history is a big part of that. Both History and Global Studies are strong programs here, and I like the broadness of studying the humanities. I study History and Political Science of course, but I also study international relations, anthropology, cultural studies, and more. It is all interconnected.

I’ve gotten to know all of my professors really well. I get a lot of one-on-one and face-to-face time with my professors and my peers. The personal attention makes a huge difference. I get access to a lot of amazing opportunities.

I’ve been involved with ceramics in the art department since I got to ²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ·. I love it.

When I discovered the ²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ·, I felt the size of the school would be perfect for me...I was also attracted to ²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØַ’s Global Education program. Spending a semester in Morocco was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

My English professors challenged me to back up my arguments, sharpening my research and writing skills, and gave me the space to safely experiment with both formal and colloquial forms of communication.

As a future physician, I believe my special combination of science and English will benefit my patients and colleagues as I am able to translate complex topics into familiar concepts.

I was able to dress and act as historical characters and even learned how to fire a musket!

Being present is a hard task and ²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ· helped me prepare for that.

I know that I want to write for digital platforms. ²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ· has helped me realize that. I didn’t even know that was a possibility until I was here.

²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ· always struck me as a remarkable place because students are earnest and hardworking and nice to each other in a unique way.

The English department at ²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ· may be small, but that is what I love about it. More than a decade later, I still have relationships with my professors who have become lifelong mentors that I continually turn to for advice and they are always willing to support me.

I really liked the faculty of the English and History Departments at ²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ·. I became really close with my professors and felt comfortable going to them not just for educational advice.

The courses I took for my Art minor were not only informative and interesting, but also fun! As a lover of art, I was endlessly excited by the material my professors presented.

All of my professors were great at what they teach and have a passion for what they do. Their passion for art spills over into the classroom and makes the classes that much more enjoyable, even for those who aren’t art majors.

At ²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ·, unlike most schools, we start observing public school classrooms in our first year. It’s a great opportunity to make sure this is what you want to do after graduation, and you also learn great tricks from teachers who have done the job before.

What I like about the Art at ²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ· is how well you get to know everyone in your major. Also, I like how the art rooms become a second home as you either work with your classmates or by yourself on your own time. 

Bringing art back to the world is a very important thing to me, and ²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ· does an incredible job of spreading the creativity to even the busiest med students.

I knew right away that a Communications major... was the best route for me to consider so that I could enhance my pre-existing skills in the video editing/production field.
