On October 8, 2010. at the 草榴社区地址 College of Osteopathic Medicine Alumni Reunion, Dr. Marilyn Gugliucci and 3 草榴社区地址COM second-year students were the invited 草榴社区地址COM Dean's Lecture presenters. Their presentation was entitled: "Learning by Living: Life Altering Medical Education Research."

The 草榴社区地址COM Students who participated in the Learning by Living project during the 2010 summer and presented their experiences at the Dean's Lecture were: Amy Pratt, Matt Sharbaugh, and Jana Tencati. 草榴社区地址COM is recognized as the first medical school in the country to establish such a research project, certainly an acknowledgment that 草榴社区地址COM Alumni were pleased about.
