As I began to narrow down my options it became very clear to me that the program at ²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ· is exceptional and stands apart from the rest.

²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ· is not just a school where you go and take your classes, study for exams, and that’s it. It is so much more. Students at ²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ· are a family.

The professors and instructors of the Dental Hygiene program are very kind and are willing to help with any aspect of the dental field. I find that attending a smaller university, the student-to-instructor ratio is a lot smaller and more personal.

If I did not have such wonderful, patient, intelligent clinical instructors, I would not have become the dental hygienist that I am today. The clinic is where I learned all my skills to start my career...

I have really enjoyed the close professor-student relationships and the low instructor-to-student ratio at ²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ·. The Dental Hygiene Department is a very tight-knit community and has made me feel welcome since my first Dental Hygiene.

The teachers are very friendly and genuine; they are always willing to help and give great advice, and they have especially made me feel great about my decision to become a dental hygienist.

Case study projects, the Yankee Dental Convention, community health class, and the Dental Hygiene Clinic all help majors get up to date, and provide us with hands on experience.

I had job shadowed at my dental office to see if dental hygiene was the major for me. I loved everything about it, the quiet environment, happy people, and knowing that I was helping my community.
